This course is an introduction to the human resource management (HRM) function and related elements and activities to examine the role of the human resource professional as a strategic partner in managing today’s agribusinesses. Key functions such as recruitment, selection, development, appraisal, retention, and compensation are examined. As a result, students will be able to take what they have learned in the course and apply it to solving HRM problems they will encounter on the job.
