    Introduction--Introduction the main contents of this course, be conducted and scoring criteria. Taiwan's basic information, including climate, geography, history and culture, etc.

    • 2. 1 March - 7 March

      Indigenous tribes of Taiwan--Introduce Taiwan's residents, especially the different of aboriginal tribes and their distribution.

      • 3. 8 March - 14 March

        Wildlife in Taiwan--Introduction important nature resource of Taiwan. Including National Park, National Trail and Nature Reserve…etc. Briefly introduce Taiwan's wildlife, including fauna and flora

        • 4. 15 March - 21 March

          National Park I--About Yushan, Shei-Pa and Taroko National Park, Introduce their natural and cultural resources.

          • 5. 22 March - 28 March

            National Park II--Mainly about Kenting, Yangmingshan and Taijang National Park, Introduce their natural and cultural resources.

            • 6. 29 March - 4 April

              National holiday

              • 7. 5 April - 11 April

                National Park IV-Field trip to Kenting National Park  (reschedule to 24th April)

                • 8. 12 April - 18 April

                  National Park III--Mainly about South Peihu, Dongsha and Kinmen National Park. Introduce their natural and cultural resources.

                    Midterm examination

                      National Scenic Area I-Describes the northern part of National Scenic Areas in Taiwan.

                      • 11. 3 May - 9 May

                        National Scenic Area II-Field trip to Liangshan: Maolin National Scenic Area (7th May 9:00-12:00)

                        • 12. 10 May - 16 May

                          How to make a travel plan-Where to find the information about traveling in Taiwan? How to apply and enter a control area, such as mountain permit application? What law is related to Ecotourism?

                          • 13. 17 May - 23 May

                            National Scenic Area III-Describes the southern part of National Scenic Areas in Taiwan.

                            • 14. 24 May - 30 May

                              Indigenous village- Field Trip to Rinari (28th May 9:00-12:00)  has been canceled 

                              • 15. 31 May - 6 June

                                Forest Recreation Area I-Describes the Forest Recreation Areas in Taiwan.

                                • 16. 7 June - 13 June

                                  Forest Recreation Area II--Field trip to Shuangliou National Forest Recreation Area. (reschedule to 24th April)

                                    Discussion and Group Presentation I--Discuss and share travel plan by group. (Final report I)

                                      Discussion and Group Presentation II--Discuss and share travel plan by group (Final report II)
