              (1) look for advertising data to interpret the intertextuality and meaning interpretation

              (2) Analyzing two news reports of the same event and indicate how they vary 
              (3) Search advertising data to analyze gendered differences in representations

              (4) design a marketing campaign of a product (please specify) by employing intertextuality in your advertisement (explained in details)

              please choose one topic only and write about it with supporting data of your choices 

              you essay is no more than 1000 words (clarity,organization and length of your analysis are considered for assessment)

                                Final exam:

                                (1) Employing van Leenwen's CDA framework to analyze how one social group is discursively represented in TW news articles (choose at least 5 samples) or

                                (2) choose samples of political narratives or speeches to examine the rhetorical strategies. 

                                (3) compare the reporting organization of two chosen news broadcasting programs of your own choice 

                                (4) select at least 5 examples of news photos and analyze the visual gramamr as well as what messages are implied 

                                (5) or other projects that were advised to try in class (c.f. visual grammar and TV news broadcasting weeks)
