Study tips
General concerns:
1. Find your own way of study.
Recall and record the time, place, and arrangement you study best.
2. Relate English to your hobbies and professional study.
3. Make a good use of your time.
Use your cell phone to take pictures of the content you want to study or photocopy it and bring it with you. Study whenever you have time.
TOEIC concerns:
1. Buy TOEIC books and practice several times.
2. Screen and cross out those items that you have correctly answered.
3. Write all Bs or Cs for all the items that you don’t have time to read through on test sheets.
4. Use reading strategies such as screening and skimming skills.
5. Enter your name to take a formal test after the freshman year that could be the peak of you English proficiency.
Assignment 1 (Writing practice)
Look at the picture and write four sentences with present continuous tense.
Upload your assignment to Moodle by 3:30 pm, May 17 (next week before the class).
