This curriculum aims to explore ethics context in policies and regulations in early childhood education and care, to introduce the contents of professional ethics in early childhood practitioners, to examine cases of ethics issues in early childhood institutions, to cultivate the appropriate emotional expression and communication ability. To achieve our vision of optimizing each early childhood practitioner’s professional ethics to ensure the quality of professional services\, the curriculum will 1. To contribute to the acquaintance of context and formulation of policies and regulation in early childhood education and care for achieving the goals expected by students, parents, colleagues and society. 2. To realize the professional ethics in early childhood and care to familiar personal right, obligation, responsibility and profession rules. 3. To observe and reflect the contents of professional ethics issue in early childhood education and care for preparing early childhood practitioners for the professional judgments and practice capability. 4. To apply theory of emotional management to promote the emotional regulation and expression skills of early childhood practitioners. 5. To undertake interpersonal communication theory that facilitates the communication capability and attitude in early childhood education and care.
