The histology is the scientific study of the structure of tissue from animals, plants, and other living being. The histology is an essential knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology. This lecture introduces the structures and functions of the tissues of the aquatic organisms, and how these tissues are arranged to compose organs. Students are expected to learn the basic knowledge of histology, such as the recognition of the structural characteristics from different tissues, the identification of organs based on their structural features, and the correlation of structures with functions of tissues, organs, or systems. Furthermore, students are expected to learn the dissecting skill and technical experience of anatomy.
