This course follows the content of Biotechnology (1) and aims to introduce fundamental knowledge and techniques in biotechnology. It covers topics including protein-based biotechnology, microbial biotechnology, DNA fingerprinting technology, bioremediation, and aquatic biotechnology. To improve students' professional English skills, this course provides English materials related to biotechnology, which help students deepen their expertise and increase their English vocabulary. English assessments will be conducted at the beginning and end of the semester to assess students' absorption of relevant English knowledge. Furthermore, relevant English videos will be provided for group discussions within the course content to improve students' English listening and speaking skills. At the end of the course, there will be group presentations, and the presentation slides used should have English titles.
