This is a very fundamental course for mechanical engineering students. It introduces basic ideas about: work, heat, and how to use energy efficiently. Students will be taught with some fundament thermodynamics laws, which include the zero law, first law (energy conservation), second law (entropy), and third law. Also will be included in this course are: different heat engine cycles, refrigeration cycles, all will be very useful for the real life applications, and can help students to develop a better understanding in environmental issues of global warming.
