This course is designed for the students to practice a variety of chemical analyses. The objective of this course is to provide the students the opportunity to learn operating practices with detailed directions for various chemical analytical experiments. The laboratory session includes gravimetric methods of analysis, neutralization titrations, precipitation titrations, complex-formation titrations with EDTA, titrations with potassium permanganate, titrations with iodine, titrations with sodium thiosulfate, titrations with potassium bromateds, potentiometric methods, electro gravimetric methods, methods based on the absorption of radiation, atomic spectroscopy, and the separation of cations by ion exchange.
