課程大綱Course Description：

中英筆譯課程共有二學期。本課程為筆譯（一），目的是培養學生對筆譯具有正確觀念，介紹中英文語言的差異及基本翻譯理論，並教導學生使用各種字典、百科、網路等翻譯輔助工具，最後藉由講解實作訓練學生習得常見之中英筆譯技巧。 請注意： 1. 遠距教學視為正式上課，上下課時間與實體課程一模一樣，請勿遲到早退。 2. 課程採取Zoom線上同步教學，缺席不到視為曠課，每次扣學期總分1分。 3. 請加入本課程Line群組，所有線上教學細節、網址將公布於內。群組連結：http://line.me/ti/g/qrAWlY0i60 4. 線上教學採用Zoom會議軟體，全程錄影錄音。請先安裝該軟體於電腦上，Zoom的代號為：姓名學號，例如：史武漢B107060001 5. 線上教學時請注意服裝儀容，以示尊重自己與他人。

English Outline：

This introductory English-Chinese translation, the first of two required translation courses, is aimed to help students acquire correct understanding of translation, the differences between English and Chinese languages, and basic translation techniques like addition, omission, conversion of parts of speech, etc. In addition, students will be introduced to various translation aids and tools such as specialized dictionaries, online references and resources. Through in-class exercises and home assignments, this course will help students gain confidence in doing English-Chinese translation.
