| 本課程安排一系列演講，訓練學生熟悉學術研討會的情形，此為四學期課程，邀請校內教師或校外學者專家演講，或請研究生發表研究成果，後二學期每一學生必須對其有關碩士論文主題作口頭報告。 |

| A sequence of lectures is arranged in this course to train the students to be familiar with the procedure of research in semesters. Some lecture topic was given be the teachers or experts in the forests fields and may also be given by graduate students themselves. In the last two semesters, each student should present his (her) master thesis in order to reach master degree. |
| 本科目教學目標Course Objectives： |
配合社會環境變遷及產業發展脈動，強化優質綠環境與生態材料－木質資源材料之物理及化學利用技術之改良與運用，及其應用於與吾人生活環境息息相關之木建築結構設計、空間設計、家具設計、生活產品設計與木竹籐工藝設計等之教學，落實學生實習操作及實務技巧，培育「適才適用」之木質資源材料性質與加工之基礎理論，並結合科學理論與文化內涵於設計創作實務之運用能力，以達技術職業教育之目標。
碩士班：培育林產加工利用及其設計之中高階技術暨國際化經營研發人才。 |
