課程大綱Course Description：

這門課程幫助學生增進他們的英語聽力與口說能力。這個課程同時也幫助學生準 備多益測驗的聽力部分。學生不但能增加單字量，並經由聽寫練習、小組討論和 其他課堂上的活動，學習到如何有效地記聽力筆記、找出會話與簡短談話中的信 號字與理解主要論點。主動參與課堂活動是成功通過這門課的主要關鍵。期待學 生在修習完此門課後，能夠增進他們對於英語聽力與口說的信心。

English Outline：

This course aims to help students develop their English listening and speaking proficiency. It also aims to help them prepare for the TOEIC listening test. Students will not only develop a wider vocabulary, but also learn effective note-taking, comprehend main points, and spot signal words in English conversations and short talks through dictation exercises, group discussions, and other in-class activities. Active participation in class is key to success in this course. After taking the course, students are expected to enhance their confidence in their English listening and speaking ability.
