課程大綱Course Description：

本課程首先教授包括昆蟲生長發育、休眠滯育、遷移擴散等影響發生之生物學特性，其次探討生物與非生物因子對昆蟲發育與發生的影響，再闡述昆蟲族群數量消長之變動規率，其中包括族群生長速率、生命表製作與分析、害蟲發生預測之數學模式應用、族群消長因素分析，以及族群調查技術與資料處理，最後討論害蟲預測預報之方法與實例。

English Outline：

This course first teaches the biological characteristics of insect growth and development, dormancy and diapause, migration and diffusion, and then discusses the effects of biotic and abiotic factors on insect development and occurrence, and then elaborates the rate of change in the number of insect populations. Including population growth rate, life table production and analysis, mathematical model application for pest occurrence prediction, analysis of population growth and decline factors, as well as population investigation technology and data processing, and finally discuss the methods and examples of pest prediction and prediction.
