課程大綱Course Description：

本課程旨在教導學生國內傳統產業製程，尤其著重於金屬加工產業。藉由了解各產業製造程序，進而思考傳產科技化潛在可能的方向與做法。課程內容包括金屬加工產業鏈介紹、製造程序介紹、傳產科技化方向思考(包括新材料、新技術、新產品結構、新市場定位、及新產品策略等)、鄰近工廠參觀、與專題報告製作等。

English Outline：

The purpose of this course is to introduce the manufacturing process of domestic traditional industries, especially metal industries. Students are expected to establish the ability to think and investigate the potential direction to introduce new concept and technology to those industries. Course contents include introduction of industries chain and manufacturing processes, discussion of innovation and new technology, visiting local corporations, and working of special project, etc.
