本課程討論以電腦及網路資源來分析生物巨分子，例如蛋白質及核酸。重要議題包括文獻資料庫、序列資料庫、序列分析工具、實驗方法資源、基因拼圖資料庫、資料庫搜尋、核酸比對、次世代定序及蛋白質體學之分析等。

English Outline：

The course discusses application of computer and internet resources to analyze biological macromolecules, such as protein and DNA. Important topics include literature database, sequence database, sequence analysis tools, protocol resource, genome mapping database, database search, nucleotide alignments, next generation sequencing, and proteomics.
