| This course introduces the nature, principles, and practical methods of drying and preserving wood and bamboo, so that scholars can acquire practical techniques and obtain the lowest processing cost and the best quality of finished products. And actually apply various operating techniques and operate various hardware equipment to process methods. |

配合社會環境變遷及產業發展脈動，強化木竹材其處理原理及方法，落實學生實習操作及實務技巧，培育「適才適用」之木質資源材料性質與加工之基礎理論，並結合科學理論與文化內涵於設計創作實務之運用能力，以達技術職業教育之目標。
