課程大綱Course Description：

本課程旨在訓練學生聆聽及做筆記的技巧，培養學生透過有效的符號和組織來紀錄、儲存所聆聽到的資訊及事後的回想檢索能力。教材偏向課堂學術英文且涵蓋生活各層面，亦也有助於開拓學生的世界知識。期待學期結束後學生的英語聽力能大幅進步，日後的學習成效及英語能力（如多益）的應試成績能有所進步。

English Outline：

This course is designed to train students in listening and note-taking skills, helping them record and store information they hear through effective symbols and organization, as well as improve their ability to recall and retrieve it afterward. The materials are focused on academic English used in the classroom but also cover various aspects of daily life, which broadens students’ world knowledge. By the end of the semester, students are expected to make significant progress in English listening, which will, in turn, enhance their future learning outcomes and improve their performance on English proficiency tests such as TOEIC.
