課程大綱Course Description：

社會工作概論屬於大學部四年制的社會工作專業必修課程之一，是符合參加社工師考試資格的必備科目，共計三學分，開課在第一年上學期。我們將透過認識社會工作專業，其發展脈絡，助人的過程與方法，和實施領域，進而對社會工作助人專業產生興趣，並思考社會工作的定位，建立個人與社會工作的關聯及探索個人的興趣領域。本課程除了期末考，還要以分組課堂報告的方式，介紹7個社會工作實務領域；此外，並需組隊擔任社福機構志工。

English Outline：

Introduction of Social Work is one of the required social work core courses of undergraduate program, necessary for being qualified for taking the social work licensed exam. Three credits in total, taught in the first semester of the first year. We will learn social work profession, its developmental context, helping process and methods, as well as its practice fields in order to deepen the commitment as a genuine social work practitioner. In addition, we will exercise critical thinking to consider the role of social work in the society, make connection between individual and social work profession, and explore individual interest area of practice. Besides final exam, this course also includes volunteering in social welfare agencies and group presentations.
