課程大綱Course Description：

本課程主要是學習社會工作在醫療體系與療養機構的角色、功能、任務及實務運用。課程內容包含有醫療社會工作定義、醫務社工的發展、全民健保現況、醫療體系與社會工作專業實務、疾病與健康的社會心理因素、醫療社會工作的理論基礎、醫務個案工作、團體工作、及社區方案服務等方法。進一步對急診、內外科、腫瘤、安寧療護、臨終闗懷、藥癮、愛滋感染疾病、早療、器捐及器官移植、保護性服務等醫療社會工作者的角色與工作內涵實務探討等。

English Outline：

This course focuses on the roles, functions, tasks, and practical applications of social work within healthcare systems and nursing homes. Course content includes the definition of medical social work, the development of medical social workers, the current status of National Health Insurance, the relationship between the healthcare system and social work professional practice, the socio-psychological factors of illness and health, the theoretical foundations of medical social work, medical casework, group work, and community project delivery. Further discussion will focus on the roles and practical implications of medical social workers in emergency medicine, internal medicine and surgery, oncology, palliative care, hospice care, drug addiction, HIV/AIDS, early childhood education, organ donation and transplantation, and protective services.
