課程大綱Course Description：

此課程主要目的除了使學生了解社會工作研究法的內涵與實際運作之外，並能夠將研究與實務工作相結合。課程內容有︰社會工作研究法之意義、基本概念、研究類型、資料收集方法、資料分析、研究報告撰寫。另外，進一步說明量化研究與質化研究兩種典範的哲學背景、理論基礎、方法過程。

English Outline：

In addition to let students understand the nature and actual operation of research methods of social work, this course will combine research and practice work. It includes the meaning, basic concepts, research types, information-gathering methods, information analysis, and report writing of research methods of social work. Besides, it further explains the philosophical backgrounds, theory foundations and method process of quantitative research and qualitative research.

本科目教學目標Course Objectives：

1.從專業化發展，使學生擁有助人專業的理論與知識，以提昇學生社會服務輸送之能力。 2.從全人化之觀點，使學生關注社會弱勢、社會正義，有志服務人群並願意投身社會工作。 3.從國際化趨勢，使學生具備多元文化與終身學習之能力，以促進國際參與及終身學習。
