課程大綱Course Description：

本課程前半段由授課教師導讀重要的偶蹄目生態學文獻，後半段由每位學生選擇一個有關偶蹄目動物生態的主題，依據該主題回顧文獻並定期以口頭報告呈現文獻整理的成果，於學期末繳交書面報告一份。本課程的目的在於使學生瞭解當今偶蹄目生態研究的進展，並能透過文獻回顧的方式並提出目前研究的不足之處及建議未來的研究方向。

English Outline：

In the first half of this course, the instructor will lead a review on the important literatures of Artiodactyla ecology. In the second half of this course, each student will choose a topic on the ecology of Artiodactyla, review research papers on the topic, and periodically present the progress orally. At the end of the semester, each student has to turn in a written report of the paper review. The purpose of this course is to let students know the concurrent progress in the research of the ecology of Artiodactyla, find questions that need to be answered by reviewing literature, and suggest future research works.
