課程大綱Course Description：

本課程是一門為初學者設計的生物統計實務課程，將以實際操作為主，旨在引導學生從零開始，建立穩固的統計分析能力。本課程將採用雙軌工具教學：前半學期，我們將完全使用 Google Sheets教學 (學生也可以使用excel)，這是一個視覺化、直觀的工具，用來學習數據整理、描述性統計、圖表繪製以及假說檢定的核心邏輯。當學生對 t-test 等基本檢定建立起牢固的觀念後，後半學期將過渡到 R 語言。課程將展示 R 如何更有效率地執行我們在 Google Sheets 中學會的所有操作，並進一步引導學生學習並操作更進階的變異數分析 (ANOVA)。本課程不強調複雜的數學推導，而將所有重點放在數據的正確處理、合適的統計方法選擇、軟體的操作，以及對分析結果的正確解讀。

English Outline：

This is a hands-on biostatistics course designed for beginners, aiming to guide students in building a solid foundation in statistical analysis from the ground up. The course will adopt a dual-tool teaching approach. In the first half of the semester, we will work exclusively with Google Sheets (students may also use Excel), a visual and intuitive tool for learning data wrangling, descriptive statistics, chart creation, and the core logic of hypothesis testing. Once students have established a firm conceptual understanding of fundamental procedures like the t-test, the course will transition to the R language for the second half of the semester. We will demonstrate how R can perform all the operations learned in Google Sheets more efficiently, and will further guide students to learn and conduct more advanced analyses, such as Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). This course does not emphasize complex mathematical derivations; instead, the entire focus is on the correct handling of data, the selection of appropriate statistical methods, software operation, and the proper interpretation of analytical results.

本科目教學目標Course Objectives：

本課程結束時，修課學生應具備以下能力： • 數據整理與描述：能使用 Google Sheets 與 R 整理原始數據，並計算與詮釋核心的描述性統計量（如平均值、標準差）。 • 數據視覺化：能根據數據類型，使用 Google Sheets 與 R (ggplot2) 製作符合學術規範的圖表（如長條圖、箱形圖），並包含必要的誤差線。 • 假說檢定邏輯：能清楚陳述 t-test 與 ANOVA 的基本原理、使用時機與其虛無假說 (H0)。 • 執行基礎統計檢定：能獨立使用 Google Sheets 與 R 執行獨立樣本 t-test，並根據 p-value 做出統計結論。 • 執行與詮釋 ANOVA：能使用 R 執行單因子變異數分析 (One-way ANOVA)，並在必要時執行 Tukey 事後檢定，最終能完整詮釋分析結果。
