課程大綱Course Description:
本課程以聲音景觀(Soundscape)為核心,融合古典音樂美學與六堆客庄地景聲響,探討聲音如何形塑文化記憶、情緒感知與空間認同。課程涵蓋研究領域包含:聲音感知、文化聲景、聲音生態學、社會心理影響與空間規劃,並結合媒體理論與台灣在地聲音文化,採跨領域方式深入分析聲音作為文化、音樂與社會現象的多重角色。學生將透過聆聽練習、田野錄音、聲音分析,探索台灣城市與鄉村的聲音環境,並以客庄地景為素材進行文創設計"聲景明信片",培養對聲音文化的敏感度與批判思維,深化對客家文化的理解與創新應用。
English Outline:
This course centers on the concept of soundscape, integrating the aesthetics of classical music with the sonic environment of the Liudui Hakka settlements to explore how sound shapes cultural memory, emotional perception, and spatial identity. It covers five key research domains: auditory perception, cultural soundscapes, acoustic ecology, psycho-social impact, and spatial planning. Drawing on media theory and Taiwan’s local sound cultures, the course adopts an interdisciplinary approach to analyze sound as a multifaceted cultural, musical, and social phenomenon.
Students will engage in listening exercises, field recordings, and sound analysis to investigate the sonic environments of both urban and rural Taiwan. Using the Hakka landscape as a creative foundation, they will design “soundscape postcards” as a form of cultural innovation, cultivating sensitivity to sound culture, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of Hakka heritage through creative application.
