課程大綱Course Description: |
1. 本課是通識課「東南亞概論」的延伸,與「東南亞概論」不同者,「東南亞社會文化」著重東南亞各國的社會問題探索與文化意象理解等兩大範疇,從相關文獻、台灣的東南亞場域(屏東的小東南亞市場)的實地參訪、以及教室裏頭的「東南亞文化活動」操作(包括印尼點心與越南咖啡製作),來幫助同學能具體感受「東南亞社會文化」的真實意義與內涵。 2. 希望透過對東南亞社會與人文的介紹,讓大學部的同學能有「主題性」的認識「台灣的東南亞」以及「東南亞的台灣」的社會與文化。 3. 其次,本課程希望透過現代東南亞國家較為關鍵的議題的討論與分享,來邀請國內東南亞區域研究專家學者(如東南亞香草香料專家)或影片欣賞的方式,來深耕同學對「東南亞社會文化」的解構觀點。 4. 因此上課主要分為三部份:(1)東南亞文化概論;(2)東南亞相關重要文化議題;(3)東南亞的現代社會。課程將配合影片播放、實地導覽,應是一門符合「通識精神」的課程。 |
English Outline: |
1. This course is an extension of the general education course "Introduction to Southeast Asia". Unlike "Introduction to Southeast Asia", "Southeast Asian Society and Culture" focuses on two major areas: the exploration of social issues in Southeast Asian countries and the understanding of cultural images. Through relevant literature, field visits to Taiwan's Southeast Asian venues (Pingtung's small Southeast Asian market), and "Southeast Asian cultural activities" in the classroom (including Indonesian snacks and Vietnamese coffee making), students can concretely experience the true meaning and connotation of "Southeast Asian society and culture". 2. Through the introduction of Southeast Asian society and humanities, undergraduate students are expected to have a "thematic" understanding of the society and culture of "Taiwan's Southeast Asia" and "Taiwan in Southeast Asia". 3. Secondly, this course hopes to deepen students' deconstructive views on "Southeast Asian society and culture" through discussions and sharing of key issues in modern Southeast Asian countries, inviting domestic Southeast Asian regional research experts and scholars (such as Southeast Asian vanilla and spice experts) or film appreciation. 4. Therefore, the course is mainly divided into three parts: (1) Introduction to Southeast Asian Culture; (2) Important Cultural Issues Related to Southeast Asia; (3) Modern Society in Southeast Asia. The course will be accompanied by video screenings and on-site guided tours, and should be a course that conforms to the "spirit of general education". |
