本課程提供一般性的教育知識、理論及觀點。其目的在協助學生對教育理論、教育現況有通盤和初步的了解

This course is designed to enable students developing the concepts of educational knowledge, theories, and perception, in addition to a discussion on related educational issues.

本科目教學目標Course Objectives：

1. 使學生了解教育的基本理論，包括教育史、教育哲學、教育心理學、教育社會學。 2. 使學生了解教育的基本實務，包括課程發展與設計、教學原理與設計。 3. 使學生對教育各項問題有所省思，包括對學校教育、教師專業、家庭教育的省思。 4. 使學生具備撰寫教案的基本能力。 5. 培養學生從事教育工作的熱忱及專業精神。
