課程大綱Course Description：

本課程對政治權力、文化認同與全球體系如何形塑我們所處的世界，以批判性思維進行廣泛且實用的探討。從外交與衝突，到貿易、移民與全球治理，學生將深入檢視影響世界事務及全球各地人民日常生活的關鍵力量。透過講授、討論與互動活動，學生將批判性地探討全球不平等、氣候政治、糧食安全以及殖民遺緒等主題。課程強調與現實世界的連結、跨文化理解與合作思維，這些都是在當今互聯的全球環境中不可或缺的能力。本課程不需具備國際政治的先備知識，歡迎來自各個學科的碩士與博士生選修。

English Outline：

This course offers a broad yet practical exploration of how political power, cultural identity, and global systems shape the world we live in, through the lens of critical thinking. From diplomacy and conflict to trade, migration, and global governance, students will examine key forces that influence world affairs and the daily lives of people across continents. Through lectures, discussions, and interactive activities, students will engage critically with topics such as global inequality, climate politics, food security, and the legacies of colonialism. The course emphasizes real-world relevance, cross-cultural understanding, and collaborative thinking—essential tools for navigating today’s interconnected global landscape. No prior knowledge of international politics is required. This course welcomes graduate and PhD students from all disciplines.
