| The content and teaching-pedagogical approach adopted in this series of two courses encourages students to pro-actively engage in advanced English listening and speaking. The course uses relatable, student-centered content combined with essential academic-skills to build students’ confidence and prepare them to use professional and academic English. Students will be expected to interact with engaging content, to not only master language use but also to actively use English to reflect and respond to global issues and articulate their perspectives and personalities. The course aims to build students' confidence and help them broaden their language skills and application to achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals. |
