| 本課程目標有三： 一、訓練學生以英語介紹台灣。內容以外來遊客來台的參觀景點及活動為主，例如國立故宮博物館、太魯閣、日月潭、野柳、台南古蹟、泡溫泉、按摩、夜市、台灣特色小吃（蚵仔煎、臭豆腐、肉粽、牛肉麵、小籠湯包）、伴手禮（鳳梨酥、太陽餅），協助學生習得所需之英文詞彙與知識。 二、介紹外籍遊客罕至的南台灣觀光景點如山地門，並鼓勵學生向外籍遊客推薦、共同體驗南台灣在地之美。 三、積極引導學生考取中華民國觀光局英語領隊或/及導遊執照，以增加日後就業競爭力。 請加入課程專屬FB社團 https://www.facebook.com/groups/322465435743109 |

| The goal of this course is three-fold: (A) to train students to introduce Taiwan fluently in English to foreign visitors. With the top foreign tourist attractions as the syllabus focus, this course takes students on a tour around Taiwan, exposing them to the unique and fun sights and sounds of Taiwan, such as the National Palace Museum, Taroko Gorge, Sun Moon Lake, Yehliu Geopark, historical sites in Tainan, spa and massage, night markets, unique traditional Taiwanese delicacies, specialty products of Taiwan, etc. Upon completion of this course, students are expected to have acquired the English vocabulary and expressions and the knowledge they need to confidently introduce Taiwan in English. (B) An emphasis will also be put on southern Taiwan tourist attractions less frequented by foreign visitors. (C) In addition, the students will be strongly encouraged to take part in the English tour guide(導遊) and/or tour manager/conductor(領隊) certification exam held by the Ministry of Examination of R.O.C. so as to boost their competitiveness in the job market.
