課程大綱Course Description：

繼英文寫作（二）之後，英文寫作（三）的目標為帶領學生從段落進入短文寫作，為日後的文章及論文寫作做準備。教學重點為幫學生複習單一段落寫作時的重點，帶領學生探討英文寫作常犯之錯誤（如中式英文、文法錯誤、邏輯錯亂）及改進方法，接著介紹常見之文章寫作類型，如描述性文章、敘事性文章、對比性文章、意見性文章、因果性文章等。

English Outline：

English Writing 3 is aimed to lead students from paragraph writing into short essay writing, preparing them for academic essays and thesis writing. The class starts by helping students review the basic principles of sentence and paragraph writing as well as examining the common types of mistakes committed by Chinese-speaking students in composing English essays. Then students will be familiarized with the skills for writing descriptive, narrative, comparison-contrast, opinion, and cause-and-effect types of essays.
