課程大綱Course Description：

本課程介紹如何發展和提案園藝治療長期和短期方案、室內及戶外園藝治療場地的評估、場域設計與經營管理。課程同時介紹園藝治療的商業模式、行銷方法、爭取補助的提案、以及園藝治療方案的人力與物質資源等，已使俾利專業園藝專業職涯的發展。

English Outline：

This course introduces how to develop and propose short-term and long-term horticultural therapy programs, assess indoor and outdoor horticultural therapy sites, design sites, and manage sites. It also covers business models for horticultural therapy, marketing strategies, grant proposal writing, and human and material resource management, all of which aim to support the development of a professional career in horticultural therapy.

本科目教學目標Course Objectives：

1. 描述治療性庭園的定義、種類、特徵、通用設計以及可及性園藝
2. 進行室內/戶外園藝治療場地的評估
3. 為一個機構設計符合機構使命、服務族群需求的園藝治療場地空間，並提出場地經營管理計畫。
4. 為一個機構量身訂製長、短期園藝治療方案提案(包含方案預算)
5. 辨識資金的可能來源並擬定爭取補助的提案
6. 描述志工資源與經營管理的方法
7. 進行短講以爭取園藝治療方案人力、物質或金錢的協助
8. 園藝治療的商業模式與行銷

Upon completing the course, students will be able to:
1. Describe the definition, types, characteristics of therapeutic gardens, universal design, and accessible gardening
2. Assess indoor and outdoor horticultural therapy sites
3. Design a horticultural therapy site for a facility that aligns with its mission and meets the needs of people served, and propose a site management plan
4. Develop a customized proposal for long- and short-term horticultural therapy programs for a facility, including program budgeting
5. Identify potential funding sources and draft grant proposals
6. Describe volunteer resources and management
7. Deliver a short presentation to promote horticultural therapy and seek support in terms of volunteers, materials, or funding
8. Describe horticultural therapy business models and marketing strategies
