| 21世紀資訊科技（IT, Information Technology）無所不在，AI人工智慧日趨成熟。資訊科技英文為專業英文課（English for Specific Purposes），課程有兩大目標： 1. 傳授千禧年世代的大學生基本的專業資訊科技詞彙、用語及發展趨勢 2. 培養學生正確快速的英打能力，以協助學生能順利進入使用英語的職場環境。 3. 探所人工智慧工具如ChatGPT在語言學習上的潛在運用。 |
| English Outline： |
| With today's ubiquitous information technology and rapidly evolving artificial intelligence, it is vital for everyone to be tech-savvy and on top of the latest trends in IT. The English for Information Technology, an English course for specific purposes, is designed to introduce topics that reflect the latest developments in information technology, making them immediately relevant to college students' needs, and to help those Millennials acquire specialist vocabulary and skills that facilitate a smooth transition into IT job market. A considerable emphasis will be put on 1) training students to attain the proficiency of the TQC English typing Advanced Level, and 2) exploring the potential benefits offered by AI tools such as ChatGPT. |
