本課旨在說明理論的意義、價質、與建立的方法，課程內包括:1、理論的組成與目的。2、研究之設計與方法之觀念，定義和名稱。3、各種研究方法之利弊。4、分析與評論當前資訊系統之論文。

English Outline：

This course provides graduate students ideas on the research methodologies used in the business and IS areas, value of theories, and further helping their preparation for the graduate thesis. Topics include:1.The concepts, definitions, and terminology of theory and research design；2.The limitation, advantage of implications of different business research designs；3.The importance of theoretical framework；4.Evaluation of Analyzing the research design of published articles.
