課程大綱Course Description:
本課程旨在引導修課學生對於經濟研究的範圍及理論基礎能有理解並建立基本認識,以經濟學學理為基礎的邏輯分析架構,讓同學們在修課之後,都可透過經濟學的模型來思考、分析、解釋與推演。藉由討論理論與現實關係,了解經濟學之重要性。課程分為上下兩學期,上學期以個體經濟學為主,主要討論供給需求、消費者行為、價格彈性、生產與成本、以及完全競爭市場與不完全競爭市場。下學期以總體經濟學為主,主要討論總體經濟表現及測度、金融體系、貨幣創造與政策、財政政策、均衡所得決定、總合供需、通貨膨脹與景氣循環、失業率與經濟成長、國際貿易及國際金融等方面之基礎概念。
English Outline:
The purpose of this course is to prepare for the study of undergraduate-level introductory basic concepts of economics. This course aims to present economics as the basic workings of markets and the reasons they improve people’s lives. Economics is a two-semester course presenting the core principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics. In the first semester, we concentrated on microeconomics. Topics include demand and supply, consumer behavior, price elasticity, produce and cost, complete competition market, and imperfectly competitive market. In the second semester, we concentrate on Macroeconomics, the study of the economy as a whole. Topics include basic concepts in measuring a nation’s production and income, banking system, money creation and monetary policy, fiscal policy, equilibrium income decision, aggregate demand and supply, inflation and the business cycle, unemployment and economic growth, and international finance.
