課程大綱Course Description:
學校教育應著重個人之倫理與價值觀的培養,使學生能瞭解自身的行為在此互倚的社會中可能造成的影響,並警覺到該行為所牽涉到的道德問題。本課程將針對與資訊應用相關之倫理與法律課題進行深入的探討,課程將透過資料蒐集、個案討論及角色扮演等互動方式進行教學。課程內容包括目前較受爭議的因資訊化所造成之特殊社會議題,如:資訊從業人員及使用者應用資訊科技時較常面臨的道德困境、軟體盜用﹑資訊系統之非法侵入、病毒問題、暇疵之資訊系統或軟體的責任問題、個人隱私權及智慧財產權的侵害、人工智慧及專家系統的再思、電腦與人類的工作權等。
English Outline:
One of the primary goal of education is to facilitate an individual in establishing his/her ethical value, so that individual could aware of his/her conduct might affect others in an interdependent society. The purpose of this course is to provide an opportunity for in-depth study on ethical and legal issues regarding the use of computer. Literature review, case study and role-playing will be used through out the course. Topics will be covered including: ethical dilemmas for computer professionals and users, software theft, hacking and viruses, responsibility for unreliable computers and software, the invasion of privacy, the infringement upon the copyright, artificial intelligence and expert systems, as well as other social impacts regarding to computerization.
