課程大綱Course Description：

學習專題論文撰寫時所需之圖表體裁之高階作文寫作技巧。 本課程有三週次邀請外界講師，以演講啟發及問題導向的方式，產出作文內容。 請同學利用511教室的電腦於課間撰寫作文，下課前上傳作業於學習平台當作課堂參與、出席與 作業成績登記和批改用。請注意作業(含少量小考)比重70% (作業50 小考20)。遲到將影響作業繳交進度，請同學注意出席。 老師的Email: kayko1022@gmail.com

English Outline：

This course is set out to help students learn how to write academic reports accurately and clearly. Students will be guided how to write paragraphs showing trends in line graphs, bar charts, pie charts, tables, and diagrams so as to prepare themselves with skills to write their own graduation project reports in the future. Furthermore, they will be taught writing skills for longer argumentative essays discussing their views and giving their own opinions on the assigned topics. Upon the completion of this course, students will be more capable of taking language proficiency tests, such as IELTS.

課堂教學+小組討論	平時成績General Performance：70% 期中考Midterm Exam：15% 期末考Final exam：15% 其它 Other：每週準時繳交課間作文作業為七成的成績來源，請同學注意課內寫作進度。批改後之作業於下一堂課會需要於課間修改完畢並上傳revision，完成這部分才會得到全部作業成績(否則只有一半分數)，注意評量回饋的作業比重。另外請同學誠實以自己的寫作實力撰寫，勿以AI代寫，週次間會有筆試驗證每一份上過的寫作課題，考試實力表現與平常作業成績若差異太大，將會酌情降減作業成績並以turnitin檢查AI痕跡百分比。

本課程以老師的上課PPT為主不用買課本，課間會以無紙化的方式進行，請同學每次上課前下載該週次學習平台上的教材以搭配作業撰寫。
