課程大綱Course Description：

土壤為作物栽種時最重要的立基，本課程的目的，在使學生進階認識土壤與肥料的重要性。基本土壤學之內容僅為初步了解土壤基本特性，本課程之內容則需更深入認識土壤的本質、土壤的生成與分類、土壤的物理與化學、土壤有機質與生物、土壤水份、土壤與植物及土壤管理，以利後續更精準的施肥培管理與土壤環境改善。

English Outline：

The purpose of this course is advanced to know soil and to understand their clue roles on earth. The contents including the advanced understanding of soil properties, genesis and classification of soils, soil physics and chemistry, organic matters and soil biology, water in soils, plants and soils and soil management. The aim of this course is for the appropriate fertilization and the improvement of soil properties for crops.

1.培育熱帶農園藝栽培管理專業知識與技能。 2.提供專業在職進修及回流教育管道。 3.培育熱帶農業專業科技研究技術及推廣能力。 4.結合地方農業特色提升農業產值。
