課程大綱Course Description：

本課程旨在讓學生瞭解法律的基本理念，闡明法律的真義並非盡在法條的記誦。此外，學習法律應以熱烈誠篤的態度，了解法之目的、法之研究方法、法之形成與運作等等，俾能養成守法重紀的精神，為民主法治奉獻心力。

English Outline：

The prime purpose of this course is to introduce to the students basic ideas of law. Students will be told that the best way to know what law is lies not in memorizing articles and provisions mechanically and clumsily but in learning the ends, the methods , the formations and the exercises of law heartily and sincerely . It is expected that the true spirit of lawyers will be consequently cultivated so as to make their contributions to the rule of law in our democratic society.
