課程大綱Course Description：

現代生活的多元及多樣性，衍生諸多法律上的糾紛與問題，國內的實證調查發現國人普遍法治觀念淡薄，對法律之認知相當有限，因此面對生活上諸多常見之法律爭議，往往因缺乏正確之法律知識，致權利受損，甚或因而觸法。職是，作為一個民主法治社會的現代公民，具備基本的生活法律素養，乃不可或缺之基本知能。本課程之核心，即是將生活中重要或常見之法律糾紛與問題，做深入淺出之探究與剖析，使學習者能具備生活上基本之法律知識，保障個人基本之權益。

English Outline：

The prime purpose of this course is to introduce to the students basic ideas of law. It adopts the case study to introduce this course including, the change of the legal system, requirement and effect of marriage (formation of family), requirement and effect of divorce; types of divorce (disintegration of family), the creation or end of a legal relation between the parents and children (marital relationship), the law against domestic violence the aged people issue in society. Students will be told that the best way to know what law is and make their contributions to the rule of law in our society.

本科目教學目標Course Objectives：

一、法律是社會科學，也是廣義管理學一環，它無時無刻存在於我們日常生活周遭，也是平衡、管理社會秩序與建構制度的重要依據。從「通識法學，法學通識」精神言之，為使學生明瞭日常生活蘊藏法律規範與價值，首先以案例為導引，讓學生產生問題意識，進而介紹相關法律概念，並具體說明法的運用與內涵，期使學生能循序漸進建立應有法治觀念。 二、本課程著重實用性，以日常生活常衍生案例做一探討，並促使學生勇於提出自我看法，期藉由互動、討論，在激盪思辨過程中，共同尋找「法」的價值，進而深化及落實學生身為現代公民之守法意識，並培養學生思維邏輯與論說能力。
