課程大綱Course Description:
本課程旨在提升學生英文綜合理解力,特別是英文閱讀能力。選文含跨不同議題,借由閱讀引導,提升學習者字彙;並能理解作者觀點,培養思考與判斷力。學生預期能在熟悉的主題或情境,更具信心地運用英文表達自己的看法與觀點。
English Outline:
The course is designed to improve students’ general English language skills, especially reading comprehension. This course offers reading practice to help students learn texts with a wide vocabulary as well as understand writers’ opinions on a variety of cutting edge issues or topics. Students at this level are expected to able to use the language independently with familiar topics, and are more comfortable understanding and expressing opinions.

其它 Other:(1) TOEIC 線上練習(# 6-7-8-9);TOEIC Mock Test 期末模擬測驗10% (2) General Performance平時成績 30% includes:Homework Assignments, quizzes, group report (作業、小考、分組報告) 20%;Class Participation / Attendance 課堂參與、出席率 10% (3) 缺曠課1節,扣總分2分 (公假除外,但需事前告知);手機從事與課堂無關的活動,1次扣總平均1分 (4) 無故遲到或早退15分鐘以上:以「遲到」或「早退」記,累積兩次扣5分
