課程大綱Course Description：

本課程目的在讓學生學習如何照顧犬隻。犬隻照養從犬隻一生流程圖開始，綜觀各生長階段之飼養管理。接續犬隻品種分類介紹、生殖生理、遺傳、營養(如蛋白質、胺基酸、能量、維生素、礦物質、水)、飼養管理(含一般之飼養管理、幼犬、老狗等)、狗舍設計及環境、疾病預防(消化道、呼吸道、生殖道等)。外加犬隻位序、異常行為或刻板行為之介紹等。

English Outline：

The purpose of the course is to let students learn how to take care of a dog. Dog care begins from the overview of dog life, including all feeding and management during different growth stages. The content will be dog breeds, reproductive physiology, genetic, nutrition (protein, amino acids, energy, vitamin, mineral, and water etc.), feeding and management (general, young and old dogs), dog housing and environment, disease prevention (digestive tract, respiratory tract, reproductive tract, etc.). Besides, hierarchy, abnormal behavior, and stereotypical behavior will be included into the course.
