課程大綱Course Description：

動物生理學課程的安排，主要是提供家畜各器官基本功能之知識，使學生學習之後，一方面了解各器官活動之動態性平衡以及各部門協調統一之功能; 另一方面, 可作為學習疾病診斷、藥理等科目之基礎。課程包括神經和肌肉、循環、呼吸、消化、吸收、代謝、腎功能、生長和內分泌。由於生理學進步迅速故內容除基本知識傳授外，也加入新的研究成果。

English Outline：

This course is designed to provide a basic knowledge about the function of each organ system of domestic animal. After completing this course, student can understand the dynamic equilibrium and the relationship between each organ system. In addition, on those knowledge base ,student can learn pharmacology & clinical diagnosis more easily. The topics of the course include nerve and muscle, circulation, respiration, digestion, metabolism, kidney faction , growth, reproduction and endocrinology. The entire course not only includes fundamental information but also has provides latest research work reflecting on this fast-growing physiology area.
