課程大綱Course Description：

This course aims to provide an advanced understanding of the latest research in plant resistance to phytopathogens. This course will especially focus on new advances that change or otherwise enhance our understanding of understanding of disease resistance traits in plants, the underlying molecular mechanisms and the genes involved with such traits, and the tools and techniques used to identify, study, and harness such traits.

English Outline：

This course is designed to equip budding plant pathologists, especially graduate students, with a more in-depth understanding on the plant resistance mechanisms to phytopathogens. This course will especially focus on new advances that change or otherwise enhance our understanding of the nature and mechanisms of plant immunity.

1. Understand the important topics of plant resistance mechanisms to phytopathogens. 2. Understand major advances and demonstrate competency in advanced research and methodologies relating to plant immunity. 3. Ability to conduct in-depth discussion and presentation on topics in plant immunity.
