課程大綱Course Description：

本課程介紹園藝學相關之基本原理、環境條件、栽培作業、園產品處理等部分。內容包含園藝分類、生長代謝、生殖發育、環境因子（光、溫度、水分生理、空氣、土壤等）、開花條件、植物繁殖、園產品處理等。讓同學認識園藝相關的科技與產業，了解園藝栽培在世界上可提供養分和食物，改善環境生活品質，美化景觀，對經濟上的重要性及醫藥利用上所扮演的角色。

English Outline：

This course introduces the basic principles, environmental conditions, cultivation, and horticultural products handling for horticulture science. It contains horticulture crops classification, growth, and metabolism, reproductive development, environmental factors (light, temperature, water physiology, air, soil, etc.), flowering conditions, plant propagation, horticultural products handling. Students can know horticultural technology and industry and understand horticulturists in the world to provide nutrients and food, improve the environmental quality of life, beautify the landscape, the economic importance and role of medical utilization.

本科目教學目標Course Objectives：

1.以果樹、蔬菜、花卉、農藝、特藥用作物及園林景觀為主軸，建立熱帶農業科技基礎能力。 2.配合產業趨勢、培育學生具備栽培管理、生理、育種改良、生物科技及園產品處理等基本專業技術。 3.培育兼具現代科學基礎理論、應用、生產技術及永續經營之專業實務人才。

課堂教學	平時成績General Performance：15% 期中考Midterm Exam：25% 期末考Final exam：25% 其它 Other：小考15％。報告20％。缺課4次（ 含）以上，第一項平時成績為0分。缺曠課以Zuvio系統為準，請假需假後一週主動告知授課教師，以便登記請假狀態。若因新冠肺炎所衍生之隔離則不記入缺課次數，但須在Zuvio系統登記。
