課程大綱Course Description：

本實習課程主要由實際操作使學生瞭解香草的歷史及未來台灣發展的潛力外，最重要的是由田間認識香草的種類，由實驗室瞭解精油的特性及萃取方法，並體驗香草香精的香味。

English Outline：

This course provides practical techniques for aromatic herbs in Pingtung area. Not only to recognize the varieties but also the propagation skills will be practiced on different kinds of aromatic herbs . For more understanding about the utility of aromatic herbs , the essential oil extraction and the character of flavor on each herbs will practice in this class. The extension of spicy industry and garden resort in Taiwan will be introduced respectively.

本科目教學目標Course Objectives：

1.以果樹、蔬菜、花卉、農藝、特藥用作物及園林景觀為主軸，建立熱帶農業科技基礎能力。 2.配合產業趨勢、培育學生具備栽培管理、生理、育種改良、生物科技及園產品處理等基本專業技術。 3.培育兼具現代科學基礎理論、應用、生產技術及永續經營之專業實務人才。
