課程大綱Course Description：

本課程的主要目的是讓學生在實踐中從事養豬工作，從中學到技能。 計劃與管理也是課程的重點，包括：批次計劃、產品目標計算、豬場生物安全、環境醫療生產、產房母豬護理、種母豬初乳管理、寄養操作、發情觀察與配種 母豬動態、斷奶仔豬濕飼系統、飼料配方、廢水利用、國際市場分析、成本效益計算等，將學生培養成為最適合進入養豬行業的專業管理精英。

English Outline：

The main purpose of this class is to make students engage in pig raising in practice, then learn the skills from it. Also, planning and management are the highlights in the class, includes: batch planning, product target calculation, biosecurity of pig farm, environment medical production, sows caring in farrowing room, colostrum management of breeding sows, foster care operation, estrus observation and mating of sows, wet feeding system for weaner pigs, feeding prescription, waste water utilization, international markets analysis, calculation of costs and benefits, etc. By so, students could be trained into professional management elites which are most suitable for entering pig industry.
