課程大綱Course Description：

工廠管理包括生產管理之理論及相關實務。本課程以系統方式，介紹生產管理相關之基本概念，例如策略規劃、預測、產品與服務設計、產能規劃、物料需求計畫與資源規劃、生產管理、廠址選擇與設施規劃、製程規劃、工作研究、物料管理、存貨管理、排程、品質管制、專案管理、供應鏈管理，並可擴充至績效衡量、安衛環保之範疇，使學生瞭解工廠管理中經常會應用到的基本知識、方法與觀念，應用在生產管理之中。

English Outline：

Factory management includes the theory and related practices of production management. This course introduces the basic concepts related to production management in a systematic way, such as strategic planning, forecasting, product and service design, capacity planning, material requirements planning and resource planning, production management, site selection and facility planning, process planning, work research, material management, inventory management, scheduling, quality management, project management, supply chain management, and can be extended to the scope of performance measurement, safety and health and environmental protection, so that students can understand the basic knowledge, methods and concepts often applied in factory management. It is used in production management.
