課程大綱Course Description：

土壤為主要自然資源之一，亦為環境生態主要根基。土壤除了提供生物維生物質及生態環境生境外，並與水土保持具有密切關係，其中包括山坡地土壤抗蝕能力、邊坡穩定及植生綠化基材等。本課程主要內容涵含蓋土壤之生成及化育過程、機械組成與質地、構造形態、粘粒結晶構造與離子交換特性、水分含量與移動特性、其他一般土壤理化性質。

English Outline：

Soil is one of the major natural resources and important basis of environmental ecology. It not only supply the vital substance for living organisms and niche of ecology, but also influences soil erosivity, stability, and vegetative of slope in soil and water conservation. This course deals with processes of soil formation, mechanical parts and texture, structure and morphology, clay mineral microscopic structure and ion exchange properties, water content and mobility characteristic, and the other common chemical and physical properties.
