課程大綱Course Description：

河川工程系一門結合不同領域主題應用於解決河川管理之課程，主要目的在培養土木工程師認知河川環境永續利用與工程設計，管理間之相互關係。本課程內容涵蓋，河川環境生態，河川水理，輸砂原理，河川型態，河川調查，河川模式，河川治理工程等不同領域之基本知識介紹。在學期末將邀請具有實務經驗之業界教師，至課堂與同學分享河川工程之實務經驗。

English Outline：

River engineering design as a course, which aggregate several different subjects to conduct a good river management. The main purpose of this class will help the civil engineer to establish an acknowledgement about the relationship between a sustainable river environments and engineering design. The contents include following topics: River environmental and ecological system; river hydraulics; river geomorphic; river investigations; river modeling; sediment transportation; river constructions etc. At the end of the semester, industry teachers with practical experience will be invited to the classroom to share practical experience in river engineering with students.
