課程大綱Course Description：

本課程以木質材料為主要重點，介紹生物質材料特性與應用方法，木質材料通常結合其他種類材質於工程應用、工藝表現及相關改質技術等，近年環境變化與產業變動，強化優質綠環境與生態材料－木質資源材料之物理及化學利用技術之改良與運用成為重中之重，其利用於人們生活中息息相關，本課程結合木結構設計、產品開發設計及木竹籐工藝設計等，落實材料加工利用及其設計理論與實務技術。

English Outline：

This course focuses on wood materials and introduces the characteristics and application methods of biomass materials. Wood materials are usually combined with other types of materials in engineering applications, process performance and related upgrading technologies. In recent years, environmental changes and industrial changes have strengthened the high-quality green environment and Ecological materials - the improvement and application of physical and chemical utilization technologies of wood resource materials has become the top priority, and its utilization is closely related to people's lives. 配合社會環境變遷及產業發展脈動，強化優質綠環境與生態材料－木質資源材料之物理及化學利用技術之改良與運用，及其應用於與吾人生活環境息息相關之木建築結構設計、空間設計、家具設計、生活產品設計與木竹籐工藝設計等之教學，落實學生實習操作及實務技巧，培育「適才適用」之木質資源材料性質與加工之基礎理論，並結合科學理論與文化內涵於設計創作實務之運用能力，以達技術職業教育之目標。
