課程大綱Course Description：

通識教育是通才教育、博雅教育、品德教育，也是美學教育，不但是要學貫中西，也要博貫古今，還要上通天文，下知地理。一般課程受限於時間與經費，所學總是有限。因此舉辦此通識大師講座，聘請國內頂尖的大師級人物，利用最短的時間，從各方面增加各位的修養與認知。

English Outline：

General education, it is means liberal education, learned and accomplished education, moral education and esthetics education. This education not only learned from orient through west, but also know extensive from now on through the past. General course is limit to time and funds, it is always limited to study. So, we hold this great master lecture class of general education. Utilize the shortest time, we increase everybody\\\s training and cognition from every side.

本科目教學目標Course Objectives：

1.以果樹、蔬菜、花卉、農藝、特藥用作物及園林景觀為主軸，建立熱帶農業科技基礎能力。 2.配合產業趨勢、培育學生具備栽培管理、生理、育種改良、生物科技及園產品處理等基本專業技術。 3.培育兼具現代科學基礎理論、應用、生產技術及永續經營之專業實務人才。
